About.

My story.

Hi! I’m Olivia Sauerberg. Originally from Jupiter, Florida, I moved to New Jersey four years ago and I’m still wondering how I lived without real seasons for 18 years. My theatre journey began when as an energetic toddler. I needed an outlet, so my parents enrolled me in a tap class  (which, to their irritation, only added to the chaos). At the ripe age of 4, I would stage what I thought were Broadway-level performances with my cousins based on children’s books from their bookshelves. I would selfishly take the all of lead roles (making my debuts as Cinderella and the Princess from “The Princess and the Pea,” to name a few highlights). I guess that’s where I heard the call of centerstage!

I’m passionate about using my craft to inspire and connect with people. I  believe deeply in the power of art to spark change, empathy and understanding. Storytelling brings me fulfillment, and I can’t imagine doing anything else. Art has the ability to touch us all, and I’m committed to using it to create a  meaningful impact by reminding society that the humanity we all share that makes life worth living.

Some of my favorite things: reading (I hit my reading goal for last year, 50 books!), tie dye, Fleetwood Mac, thrifting, logging movies on my Letterboxd, and waterskiing
